Whitefly on Curled Tip

Whitefly rests on the curled tip of a withered plant blade at the lower edge of the frame. The insect's pale, creamy body contrasts with the tan, cracked surface while soft directional light and a deep green out-of-focus background isolate the subject. The plant surface shows fine, scale-like cracking and the whitefly's translucent wings catch a small highlight.
